eFriends allows producers on its platform to sell or gift their electricity to consumers. For the first time, pure consumers without a PV system can source 100% green electricity in real-time from other rooftops. The eFriends technology can be used as an electricity meter with our system.

Installation

The installation of the meters must be performed by an electrician.

Prerequisites

You must be a customer of the eFriends platform and your electricity supplier must be an eFriends partner. Details can be found at https://www.efriends.at

Integration

Once logged into the eFriends app, click on [API Manager] in the menu and follow these instructions to activate the API. You will need to enter the generated API key later during setup.

Now open the [Expert Mode].

Here you will find the hostname of your eFriends technology. You must also enter this during setup.
